Award Amount: $2,000 – $5,000

Criteria: Applicant must be a Maryland resident, have and maintain a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA, enroll at a Maryland institution in a program that leads to an initial teaching certificate.

MESBEC Scholarship
Award Amount: $500 – $5,000
Criteria: Applicant must be at least one-quarter Native American and be an enrolled member of a U.S. tribe that is federally recognized, state-recognized, or terminated, with high GPA and test scores and be enrolled in an accredited college or university.

Minority Masters Fellows Program
Award Amount: $7,500
Criteria: Applicant must have been a recipient of the Minority Teacher Scholars Program and be an African-American, Asian, Hispanic, or Native American Arkansas resident with a minimum 2.75 GPA. Applicant must attend an Arkansas institution.

Minority Teacher Loan
Award Amount: $250 – $2,500
Criteria: Applicant must be a Wisconsin resident attending a Wisconsin college or university, be enrolled in a program leading to teacher licensure, and be African-American, American Indian, Hispanic, or Southeast Asian from Laos, Cambodia, or Vietnam admitted to the U.S. after December 31, 1975. Applicant must submit FAFSA and be nominated by the Financial Aid department. Recipient must agree to teach in a Wisconsin school district participating in the inter-district pupil transfer (Chapter 220) program.

Minority Teachers of Illinois Scholarship

Minority Teaching Fellows
Award Amount: $5,000
Criteria: Applicant must be a Tennessee resident and United States citizen who is a minority student enrolled full-time at an eligible Tennessee post-secondary institution. Applicant must be an entering freshman with a 2.75 high school GPA with at least an 18 ACT/860 SAT on a national test date. Continuing college students with a 2.5 cumulative GPA may also apply.

Missouri Minority Teaching Scholarship
Award Amount: $3,000
Criteria: Applicant must be a resident of Missouri who is an African American, Asian American, Hispanic American, or Native American. Applicant must be a high school senior, college student, or returning adult (without a degree) who ranked in the top quarter of their high school class or scored at or above the 75th percentile on the ACT or SAT examination. College or university must have an approved teacher education program, which the recipient will be participating in.
