Success Academies are free, high-performing public charter schools serving scholars in Kindergarten through 6th grade (and soon 7th and 8th grade as well). Our schools are founded on a simple premise: Every child can achieve success when they have access to a high-quality, free public education. Children enter our schools through a random lottery – but after they walk through our doors, nothing is left to change.

OUR MISSION:

First, we serve our scholars by preparing them to graduate from a selective college and succeed in life.

Day in and day out, discovery, exploration, creativity and curiosity abound in every one of our classrooms. We harness each through a rigorous and innovative curriculum that provides an unparalleled free public education to children across New York City.

Second, we reform the public school system in ways that will help every child gain access to a world-class education.

We also have a broader aim – to redefine what is possible in public education as a whole. We are advocates for educational excellence and reform. Our entire community is involved in working toward this common goal.
