GUHSD is located just minutes from the junction of I-8/I-15. We are comprised of 11 comprehensive high schools (two of which are independent charter schools), one continuation school, alternative and special education programs that reflect the rich diversity of East County. The GUHSD provides a

The Grossmont Union High School District has an exemplary BTSA induction program and serves as a model in the State of California.Administrative support, mentor teachers, and a variety of professional development resources create an optimal teaching environment. In addition, BTSA provides the opportunity to clear your preliminary credential AND to have the

applicable coursework credited toward the completion of a Master’s Degree.

The District recognizes up to 25 years of service credit for initial salary placement.
