Siemens Teacher Scholarship
About Siemens Teacher Scholarships
The Siemens Teacher Scholarship initiative was launched in March 2005 to encourage minority students to consider careers teaching math and science.
In partnership with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, the Siemens Foundation will provide $1 million in scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students majoring in education, and enrolled at the historically black colleges and universities that are members of the organization. This program marks the first time the Thurgood Marshall College Fund has collaborated in an effort to target students at both private and public historically black colleges and universities.
The funds will be awarded based on academic merit and financial need. The program is administered by the Thurgood Marshall College Fund.
