Skokie School District 68 is a highly diverse, financially sound, and high achieving suburban elementary school district serving 1600 students across four schools in grades K-8. The district is located 15 miles north of Chicago, in Niles Township, which has the fastest growing immigrant population in the northern metropolitan area. Over 50 languages are spoken within the school district.
District 68 has a rigorous and comprehensive educational program for its students and an ongoing, job-imbedded professional development program for teachers. All school buildings have been recently renovated and support state-of-the art technology resources.
