Prospective teachers can post their resumes for recruiters to view, as well as search the job listings in the database.Teacher candidates can also subscribe to the monthly newsletter and the biannual print publication.

POST RESUMES
The Teacher Resource Center provides prospective teachers with tools that will make the job search experience simple and easy. One highly utilized tool is the “Resume Builder” which allows teacher candidates to upload an existing or build a new resume online. Candidates also have the option of placing their resume in a database that can be searched, viewed and downloaded by school employers.
SEARCH JOB OPPORTUNITIES
The job-listing database offers thousands of opportunities for teachers nationwide who are looking to find school employers that have made a commitment to diversity and are hiring multicultural educators for their classrooms.
The job search features are simple to operate and allow candidates to set and save specific search terms and to set email alert criteria for matching job opportunities as they arise.
Monthly e-Newsletter
Teachers of Color has publish the January 2012 e-newsletter.
All newsletter content is specific to the teacher recruitment and hiring processes. It will include a monthly calendar of career fairs and conference events. Most of the content contributors will be Human Resource personnel of school districts around the country.
Digital Publication
We now offer a digital version of Teachers of Color magazine. It will be available to download on November 1, 2011.
You may also find the print version of the current issue in the Department of Education on over 450 college and university campuses nationwide. In addition, you may subscribe for the magazine to be mailed directly to you.
